Wai Kru Ram Muay Class
About this tour
Wai Kru Ram Muay at Sinbi Muay Thai πΉπ An excerpt from Kru Fatis @fatis________14 teaching Wai Kru this morning - passing on the movements, meaning, and traditions behind this important part of Muay Thai culture. Every Saturday morning after pad work and bag work, our students have the opportunity to learn Wai Kru Ram Muay and understand the respect, focus, and discipline behind this tradition. Wai Kru is more than just a performance before a fight. It is a way to show respect to your trainer, your gym, your teachers, and the art of Muay Thai itself. It helps fighters calm the mind, build focus, and prepare themselves before stepping into the ring. At Sinbi, our trainers come from different Muay Thai backgrounds and camps across Thailand. Each trainer brings their own experiences, knowledge, and style. Because of this, the Wai Kru and Ram Muay taught at Sinbi may include different movements, details, and traditions passed down from the camps and teachers who shaped them. Every Muay Thai camp has its own unique history and identity behind its Wai Kru. These differences are what make this tradition so special and help preserve the spirit of Muay Thai for future generations ππΉπ ποΈ Tradition. Respect. Focus. Strength.
