Community Guidelines
EVE is built by and for the people of Phuket. These guidelines keep the community safe, honest, and welcoming. They apply to every post, review, photo, comment, profile, and message on EVE, and form part of our Terms of Use.

Our Promise and Yours
EVE shows real events, real venues, and real recommendations, with no pay-to-rank and no fake listings. In return, we ask everyone who uses EVE to be honest, respectful, and lawful. Content that breaks these guidelines may be removed, and accounts that repeatedly or seriously break them may be suspended or terminated.
1. Content That Is Not Allowed
Do not post, share, or promote content that:
Harms people
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or incites violence against anyone
- Promotes hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar grounds
- Shares another person's private information without consent (doxxing), or intimate images without consent
Is illegal or dangerous
- Facilitates illegal activity, including the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or counterfeit goods
- Promotes human trafficking, prostitution where unlawful, or any form of exploitation
- Encourages self-harm or dangerous acts
Is deceptive
- Fake, paid, incentivized, or otherwise misleading reviews and ratings
- Impersonation of a person, business, or venue, or misrepresenting your affiliation
- Scams, phishing, spam, or deceptive promotions
Is sexual, graphic, or infringing
- Sexually explicit content, or content that is gratuitously violent or graphic
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
2. Child Safety (Zero Tolerance)
EVE is an 18+ platform. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. We remove such content immediately, terminate the accounts involved, preserve relevant information, and report to the appropriate authorities and child-safety organizations as required by law. If you encounter content that endangers a minor, report it immediately using the in-app report tool or email safety@eveinc.ca.
3. Honest Reviews and Listings
- Only review places and events you have genuine experience with
- Do not post reviews in exchange for payment, discounts, or other incentives without disclosure
- Businesses must not review themselves or post reviews about competitors
- Venue and event information must be accurate; do not list events you are not authorized to list
4. Report and Block
You can report any content or user that you believe breaks these guidelines, and you can block users so they can no longer interact with you. Both tools are available throughout the EVE app:
- Report: use the report option on a post, review, comment, profile, or message to flag it for our team
- Block: use the block option on a user's profile to stop their interactions with you

5. How We Enforce
Our team reviews reports and content on an ongoing basis. Depending on the severity and history, we may:
- Remove or restrict the visibility of content
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend an account
- Permanently terminate an account for serious or repeated violations
We act faster and more severely on content that threatens safety. We may also remove unlawful content promptly after we are notified of it, as required under applicable law.
6. Appeals
If you believe we made a mistake about your content or account, you can ask us to review the decision by emailing safety@eveinc.ca. We will review eligible appeals and respond.
